As a Licensed institution of the Engineering Council: one of 15 institutions with a seat on the Board. IHIE is licensed to register CEngs, IEngs ad EngTechs and to accredit trasining for IEng and EngTech.
As a full member of the Construction Industry Council
As a member of the CIC Construction Industry Standards Committee developing vocational qualifications.
As a partner in the Engineering and Technology Board promoting engineering.
As a partner with ICE and IStructE in the Joint Board of Moderators. The JBM accredits built environment, engineering degrees. IHIE is licensed by the Engineering Council to accredit courses for CEng, IEng and EngTech.
