Consultants who design, plan and manage projects.
Public Authorities who respond to and investigate local transportation needs, instruct consultants, or design and plan the schemes themselves. Local councils also manage and maintain road and traffic schemes.
Contractors who manage work on site, get schemes built, or repair and maintain roads. Some work for the Highways Agency, in partnerships, or for the consultants on term maintenance contracts.
Materials suppliers and contractors who supply surfacing materials to ensure safe and environmentally-friendly roads.
