Published 10 times a year Highways Magazine covers highway construction and maintenance and traffic management.

IHIE is partnering with Highways.

The annual Highways Magazine Excellence Awards spotlight products and services demonstrating excellence and innovation. IHIE President, Susan Broadaway, Tony Sharp chaire dthe Judges Panel in 2007 and 2008. Other judges include representatives from the Highways Agency, DfT, Northern Ireland, Transpoirt Scotland and the Welsh Assembly.

_New in 2008: IHIE Award for Employee Development showcased excellence in training and development.

IHIE and Highways co-sponsor an annual highway maintenance conference in April/May in the South Midlands.
