How to apply

Take the Health and Safety Test. PQP for the Black card, Manager for the Platinum card and Supervisor for the Gold card.

1. To find the right CSCS Application form

Go to www.cscs.uk.com

Click on Occupations Available (LHS).

Search for

  • Senior Transportation Practitioner
  • Transportation Practitioner (Platinum - manager)
  • Transportation Assistant (Gold - supervisor)

Download the form.

Choose 'Professional Membership' on the form

2. Take and pass the relevant Health and Safety test then send off your form.

3. Filling out the Form

  • You need a passport photograph (they are picky) and your National Insurance Number
  • Tick off the activities you have experience of
  • Ask your employer to sign to say you have been working in these activities for at least one year in the last three years.
  • Show your CPD record to another IHIE member who is at the same or a higher level than you. They will sign to verify the record.
  • You and your seconder will need your IHIE member numbers from your membership cards.
